The highest quality tequila 'Tres Alegres Compadres' is the first brand from one of the most famous distilleries in the region, 'La Cofradia'. Agaves are grown in the lowlands of the Jalisco region - Los Valles. Ripe blue agaves are baked in brick ovens, then crushed in a screw mill. Fermentation takes place in large steel tanks. Distilled twice in steel vessels with copper spirals. Aged for 18 months in white oak barrels.
Aromas: subtle hints of roasted agave, pepper, caramel, smoke and citrus.
Taste: dry, savory with notes of wood, vanilla, agave and smoke.
Recommended for light sipping, but also great for mixing in cocktails.
