Clase Azul is one of the most artistic tequila producers, showing great respect for the Mexican cultural heritage. Although it is one of the most expensive tequilas on the market, that's because they make more than just tequila, they also make art that reflects the hearts and souls of the people of the Jalisco region. ' Clase Azul Reposado' is a unique symbol of Mexican tradition and culture. Tequila's ceramic decanter is the most recognizable icon with a distinctive hand-crafted cobalt blue design.
For production, blue agaves are grown for 6-8 years in one of the highest points of the state of Jalisco, whose unique climate and soil give tequila an exceptional taste. After harvesting, the agave cores are baked for 72 hours in traditional brick ovens, the fermentation process is stimulated by specially developed yeast. The tequila is distilled twice in copper stills and aged for eight months in American whiskey casks, creating a unique hazelnut and vanilla flavor and exceptional smoothness.
Color: golden with bright yellow accents.
Aromas: agave syrup, vanilla, candied orange peel, oak and light notes of cinnamon and bananas.
Taste: soft, sweet with hints of hazelnut, vanilla, toffee, butter, cloves, cinnamon and delicate agave syrup.
We recommend sipping slowly and enjoying the pure taste of this luxurious tequila. Perfect for pork dishes with sour sauce, aged cheese with honey or mustard. For dessert, we suggest trying it with chocolate mousse with hazelnuts and orange.
