'Amor Mio Gran Reserva Añejo' tequila entices with its unique aromas of spices and dried seeds and a particularly charming harmony of flavors that leaves a lasting impression.
Tequila is made from blue agave grown organically in the Amatitán highlands for eight years. The unique profile of tequila is achieved by introducing an additional 'Schiller' process - tequila cooling, which allows natural impurities to be removed from the agave. Fully ripe agave is roasted in traditional brick ovens , then crushed in modern roller mills, and natural fermentation takes place in steel vats. It is slowly distilled twice in steel pots, preserving all the aromatic and taste properties of the agave. It is aged for 28 months in oak barrels used in the production of American whiskey, so the mixtures of spices and dried seeds in the wood create unique aromas and special flavors.
Aromas: vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate, cinnamon, plums, hazelnuts, roasted agave, spices, pepper, tobacco, wood.
Taste: silky feel, subtle nuances of bitter chocolate and sweet vanilla, hints of cinnamon, nuts, tobacco, pepper, prunes and fruit, and gentle traces of oak.
Aftertaste: medium length with soft, sweet notes.
