Pocha (Spanish: Pox) is an ancient Mayan drink with great cultural significance, organic and exclusively handmade, mostly used in religious ceremonies and festivals in the Mexican state of Chiapas. Made from four different types of corn, sugarcane and wheat traditionally grown locally. In this region, it is customary to chew the coffee beans before sipping posha. Traditions and myths surround this mystical drink, which means 'healing sugarcane liquor, medicine' in the Mayan Tzotzil language and was brewed according to the phases of the moon.
This posh is distilled from wheat bran, sugar cane and panela - unrefined sugar cane obtained by boiling and steaming sugar cane juice. Local spring water is used. All ingredients are fermented for 7-10 days in 200 liter oak barrels. Distilled in steel tanks, followed by a cooling process with spring water.
The taste is sweet and rich with notes of ripe tropical fruits, touches of roasted coffee beans, freshness of herbs.

If the person picking up the goods is under 20 years of age, the goods will not be returned and the order will be cancelled.
