'Xila' (pronounced - Šila) means 'woman' in the Mexican Zapotec language, and Flor de Luna is Mexico's first female-run distillery, founded in 2005. and where only women work.
This mezcal-based liqueur pays homage to two of Mexico's iconic regional cultures: Oaxaca, known as the birthplace of Mezcal, and Puebla, known for its smoky Ancho chilies. The unique recipe consists of seven flavor elements, each prepared and blended by hand: caramelized pineapple, lavender, chili, hibiscus flower, clove, cinnamon and black pepper.
Mescal from 'Espadín' agaves matured for 7 years is used as the basis for the liqueur. All the produce is sorted and collected by hand in a giant sack that is soaked (infused) in mezcal for 7 days and then rested for 7 days. The liqueur has twice as much sugar as other regular liqueurs.
Fragrant, earthy and mildly sweet liqueur with pleasant aromas of lavender and hibiscus, tropical hints of caramelized pineapple, accentuated with spicy cinnamon, pepper, cloves and Ancho chili.
We recommend sipping one, on ice with an orange slice, to give cocktails a unique character. Perfect with fried chicken, vanilla ice cream, churros or rich cake.

If the person picking up the goods is under 20 years of age, the goods will not be returned and the order will be cancelled.
