The highest category in the ultra-luxury tequilas line. A modern matured pink tequila that represents the relationship between Mexican traditions and the Mediterranean lifestyle in a unique bottle.
A masterful 'Reposado Rosa' made from a blanco tequila base using blue agave from the different highlands and lowlands of the Tequila Valley of Jalisco. The agaves are roasted in traditional stone ovens and then naturally fermented with local yeast and distilled twice in copper pot stills. It is then aged for 2 months on red grape skins in oak barrels used for red wine from the Napa Valley. Aging tequila mellows, adds complexity and subtlety, giving it a rich, unique pink color, a legacy of the red wine that has been in the barrel and left its color memories in the wood. The result is visually reminiscent of Provence rosé wine, but the pale pink color hides the strong and refined character of tequila. The final touch to the process is gentle aeration: a winemaking technique where the liquid is agitated, i.e. oxygenated, to make the mouthfeel softer and smoother while adding richness.
The iconic bottle, handcrafted by artisans, is a one-of-a-kind creation. The pink color reflects the beauty of the Mediterranean, preserving the aromas and flavors of the Mexican drink.
Aromas: cinnamon-dusted rose petals, caramel apple, candied pineapple, lime peel and fresh agave notes.
Taste: soft and rich texture, fresh agave, vanilla, butter, dark chocolate, plums, blackberries and dark cherries.
Aftertaste: delightfully long, rich, dry and smooth with subtle sweetness, hints of chocolate and strawberry.
