Meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship goes into filling each of the handmade ceramic bottles of this unique collection. The patterns and colors of each bottle are different.
The refined and seductive aroma of 'Amor Mío Extra Añejo' tequila pleasantly attracts with hints of wood, bright notes of vanilla and chocolate and a subtle nuttiness. Bright notes of vanilla and cinnamon dance on the palate, creating a harmony of sweetness and spice. The taste of agave, plum and wood adds depth and complexity, while hazelnuts further enrich the taste. A soft hint of dark chocolate gives a wonderful aftertaste to this extraordinary tequila.
Tequila is made from blue agave grown organically in the Amatitán highlands for eight years. The unique profile of tequila is achieved by introducing the additional 'Schiller' process - tequila cooling, which allows the removal of natural impurities from the agave. Fully ripe agave is roasted in traditional brick ovens , then crushed in modern roller mills, and natural fermentation takes place in steel vats. It is slowly distilled twice in steel pots, preserving all the aromatic and taste properties of the agave. It is aged for 48 months in French oak barrels, until the tequila becomes an exceptional pleasure with extraordinary aromas and flavors, designed to be enjoyed on special occasions.
Aromas: subtle reflections of cinnamon, cloves, wood, tones of dried fruit, hazelnut and walnut, notes of cherries, raspberries, plums and a combination of barrel-influenced aromas: caramel, vanilla, dark chocolate.
Taste: silky feel, bright vanilla, rich agave, cinnamon, caramel, prunes, nuts, light tones of red fruits and berries, subtle traces of chocolate and wood
Aftertaste: medium length with soft, sweet notes.
Designed to be enjoyed alone. Best paired with sweet foods and desserts, vanilla ice cream, pancakes, chocolate mousse, coffee or chocolate eclairs, a good cigar. Perfect as a digestif for digestion.
