Inspired by cultural heritage, Mijenta creates elegant, premium tequila based on ancestral recipes, with a commitment to environmental sustainability and the local community. All products are hand-crafted, numbered and embrace traditional methods, creating the highest quality distillation process. This unique tequila was created by Maestra Tequilera Ana Maria Romero.
The tequila is distilled from 7-8 year matured agaves from the highlands of Jalisco, where mineral, lime and iron rich, red clay soil spreads, bringing out the richness of the agave, along with fruit with floral aromas and hints of minerality. Bottled unfiltered, this tequila has a bright, bold flavor profile that reflects the authentic flavors of agave.
Production process: agaves are slowly cooked in a stainless steel oven, then crushed with a mechanical mill, and natural fermentation with special yeast takes place in steel vats. Double distilled in steel stills. Aged up to 6 months in American white oak, French oak and acacia barrels, giving a more mature and fuller expression with a long aftertaste.

Aromas: delicate with notes of vanilla, bergamot, honey, wood, caramel, banana, pepper, wild flowers, cocoa, preserved fruit and orange blossom.
Taste: rich with reflections of cooked agave, honey, oak, mild pepper, hazelnut, banana, vanilla, cocoa.
Aftertaste: long and rich, sweet honey and mild wood heat.
