Maximiliana agave is rumored to contain chemical compounds that have great therapeutic and health benefits, leading many to believe in this agave's medicinal benefits and ability to grant longevity.
Agave is roasted in a coal-fired adobe-style clay oven; naturally fermented, using wild yeast, in wooden vats; later - once (proof of the producer's craftsmanship) it is distilled in a hybrid way in steel vessels and copper alembics.
Aroma: sharp acidity, covered with sweet lemons, apples, grapes, salt. Sweet notes of syrup are felt, which are perfectly balanced by acidity and subtle touches of spices.
Taste: fruity, with bright notes of lemons, limes, sweet butter and powdered sugar, later the minerality of the drink becomes apparent.
Aftertaste: soft, creamy, dry and bitter at the end.
We recommend this raisin for cocktails; serve with meat baked in foil; sip one.
Raisija is essentially mezcal, only made in the tequila region of Jalisco. It can be produced from a variety of wild or cultivated agaves, with great differences in the surrounding environment, equipment and production methods. All this gives the distillate a fragrant, unique spectrum of taste and expression.
