During Día de Muertos, the day of the dead, Mexican towns and cities fill the streets and homes with a sea of unmistakable flavors, colors, aromas, music and memories. An all-encompassing atmosphere that leaves an indelible mark on a person's memory that any of us could recognize when we close our eyes.
In a five-year journey that showcases the most distinctive aspects of the Día de Muertos festival (tastes, aromas, colors, music and memories), the second tequila, Día de Muertos Edición Limitada Colores, is presented, a tribute to colors and the memories they evoke. Aged Añejo tequila was created for this edition, inspired by the colorful decorations of the Day of the Dead, 'papel picado' carnations, sugar skulls and the traditional orange flowers of Mexico - Aztec marigolds.
Aromas: sugar cane, dried fruit, tones of roasted walnuts and almonds. Taste: candied orange peel, cloves, hints of walnuts and cocoa.
Aftertaste: long with notes of toasted oak.
