This rich and complex mezcal is an ensemble of two of the most famous agaves of the state of Oaxaca. Two parts Espadín and one part Tobalá is the perfect ratio, allowing the drink to harmoniously express the characteristics of both agaves.

Aromas: complex with fresh jasmine, citrus fruits, sharper acetone, pine and soft smoke.
Palate: Fresh citrus, rich agave sweetness, warm butter, pine, some spiciness and subtle smokiness.

Mezcal is produced using traditional methods: ripe agaves are roasted in underground pits lined with stones and fired with black oak wood, then crushed with a stone roller - tahona. Natural fermentation takes place in wooden tanks with wild yeast. Distilled twice in copper stills, then put to rest in glass containers for at least 90 days.

We recommend sipping it alone, combining it with light snacks or fruit, as well as trying it mixed in cocktails.

The respected owners of 'La Venenosa' and 'Don Fulano', E. Morales and S. Mendoza, decided to showcase the incredible biodiversity of the Mexican land in the form of Mezcal, and thus Mezcal Derrumbes was born, with only small village distillers from different states in its range. So we invite you to sip, close your eyes and take a trip through Mexico: Oaxaca, San Luis Potosi, Durango, Zacatecas and Michoacan.
