A special mezcal made by traditional artisans from the state of Guerrero. El Occidental Mezcal Guerrero uses only organic agave of the 'Cupreata' variety and traditional production methods: agaves are roasted for 3 days in pits in the ground, then crushed with a mechanical mill; organic fermentation takes place outdoors in large wooden vats. Distilled twice in copper stills. The result is an intense and floral mezcal with a creamy texture, accompanied by hints of tobacco and minerals. Awesome!
We recommend sipping on its own, with orange slices and caterpillar salt, or mixed into cocktails.
