A classic, aged artisanal tequila with blue agave grown in the mountains of Los Altos, Jalisco, overlooking the cities of Tequila and Amatitan. The highland air, volcanic soil and altitude of around 2,000 meters make this distillate unique. "El Ranchito" distillery was founded in 1994 and belongs to the Vivianco family, whose history begins with the founder Feliciano Vivianco, who until then only cared for the fields of highly demanded, high-quality agaves and their supply to distilleries.
For this tequila, agave is roasted in traditional brick ovens, then naturally fermented in large steel vats to the music of Beethoven! Distilled twice with a continuous copper still. Aged for 4 months in small American white oak barrels used in bourbon production. The light amber colored tequila is all natural with no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners.
Aromas: sweet tones of agave, fruit and flower blossoms, refined hints of jasmine, chocolate, vanilla and wood.
Taste: bright character of green agave with hints of wood, vanilla, chocolate.
Aftertaste: soft, long and savory, with a hint of black pepper. A very well-balanced, matured tequila, faithful to the highland agave tequila profile.
We recommend enjoying it alone or with fruit, combined with snacks, tacos. Perfect for classic cocktails. When cooled, it becomes an excellent digestif after meals.
